Terms of Service

These terms explain how Easy Memorial Videos works and what you and we agree to when you use our website or purchase a memorial video. Please read them before you buy.

Effective date:

In short

  • Creating a tribute and watching the preview are free. Please review your preview carefully — once you purchase, your tribute is final and can’t be edited.
  • You must be at least 18 to purchase, and you must have the right to use the photos and words you add.
  • After purchase you can download your finished video for 12 months. Please download it and keep a copy.
  • You may share your video with family and friends, play it at services and gatherings, and post it on your personal social media — but not sell it or use the music separately.
  • Refunds are handled case by case, as explained in our Refund Policy.

1. About these terms

Easy Memorial Videos (“we”, “us”) operates the website at easymemorialvideos.com. By using the website or purchasing a video, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website.

2. Who can purchase

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to make a purchase. Our service is intended for customers in the United States.

3. How the service works

  • You upload your photos, add your loved one’s details and choose one piece of music. Your video is created automatically from our professionally designed template; we don’t edit, retouch or arrange photos by hand.
  • You can watch a free preview and make changes as often as you like before purchasing.
  • Your package is chosen automatically from the number of photos in your tribute, and you’ll see the exact price before you pay.
  • Once you purchase, that version of your tribute is final. Your finished video is created from exactly the version you purchased, and the tribute can no longer be edited.

4. No account — keeping access to your tribute

You don’t need an account. Your tribute is linked to the browser you created it in, using a cookie (see our Privacy Policy). If you clear your cookies, switch browsers or devices, or close a private browsing window, you may lose access to your tribute from that browser. If you lose access to a purchased video, contact us: after confirming your purchase, we may send a temporary download link to the email address used for the purchase. These links last up to 7 days and can be cancelled.

5. Your photos and words

  • You keep all rights you have in the photos and words you add.
  • You give us permission to store, copy and process them only as needed to create, show you, deliver and support your video, for as long as we keep them under our Privacy Policy.
  • You confirm that you have the right to use them in this way — for example, that they are your family’s photos or that you have permission from whoever owns them.
  • You must not upload anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights or that you don’t have permission to use.

6. Payment

Prices are in US dollars and are one-time payments. Payment is processed by Stripe. The price that applies is the one shown when you pay.

7. Delivering your video

After payment, your finished video is prepared automatically. This usually takes a few minutes and can take longer for larger tributes; we don’t guarantee a particular delivery time. When it’s ready, you can download it from your tribute’s page as a full HD (1080p) video file. If we can’t deliver your video, our Refund Policy explains what happens.

You can download your video again for 12 months from the date of payment. After that, the video and your photos are deleted and can’t be recovered, so please download your video and keep your own copy.

8. Using your finished video and the music

You may keep your finished video, share it with family and friends, play it at funerals, memorial services, Celebrations of Life and other gatherings, and post it on your personal social media accounts.

The music in your video is licensed to Easy Memorial Videos and is included for use as part of your video only. You don’t receive ownership of the music or any separate right to it: you may not extract the music from the video, use it on its own or in other projects, or sell, license or otherwise use the video or the music commercially. Other websites and apps sometimes use automated systems to identify music, and we can’t control how they treat your video.

9. Refunds

Refunds are handled case by case as described in our Refund Policy. A refund removes access to the download and deletes the finished video, and does not reopen the tribute for editing. If a payment is disputed with your bank or card issuer, we may suspend access to the video while the dispute is open. If you have a problem, please contact us first — we can usually help more quickly than a bank dispute.

10. Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the website — for example, by trying to access other people’s tributes, interfering with how the website works, uploading harmful files, or using automated tools to send messages or create tributes. We may refuse or stop service to anyone who misuses it or breaks these terms.

11. Our website and content

The website, our video templates, designs and text, and the music library belong to Easy Memorial Videos or its licensors. Apart from using your finished video as described above, you may not copy or reuse them.

12. Disclaimers

We work hard to make every video beautiful and to keep the website running smoothly, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise that the website will always be available or free of errors, or that it will meet every expectation beyond what these terms describe.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service or your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be limited by agreement.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we can’t resolve together will be handled by the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page, with its effective date, applies to purchases made while it is in effect.
